Clinical Psychologist
Vivian obtained her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from University of Nottingham. Upon her graduation, she worked with an NGO as a social worker for a year. During her working years in the NGO, she learned that she has to enhance her knowledge and skill further in order to help the community to improve their well-being.
She then pursued her Master of Clinical Psychology in HELP University. During her tenure in the university, she has interned with the university based psychology clinic (CPCS). Vivian also had an experience working at a special needs center at Damansara Heights giving her an opportunity to work with children with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia.
After completed her training in special needs centre, she had her clinical placement at Hospital Kajang and Hospital Selayang which allowed her to work with clients who have anxiety, depression and social phobia. In addition, she also took part in facilitating the pain management program "MENANG" ( a pioneer program ) in Hospital Selayang.
Currently she is attached with an NGO, Dignity for Children Foundation which provides holistic education for underprivileged children and leading the welfare and mental health department. she's working closely with three subordinates and five trainees, as they promote the well-being and to assist the underprivileged children to overcome their emotional difficulties.
